Our Facilities

St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish is blessed with wonderful facilities available to our parish community.  These facilities are used as venues for many of our most special celebrations and gatherings.

Not only does the Parish community gather in our facilities, but individual parishioners and others can rent our venues for their special gatherings as well.  We have a number of rooms available for gatherings like weddings, anniversaries, baptisms, confirmations, graduations, funerals and business meetings.  Among the wonderful facilities available at St. John the Baptist are:

The Panel Room The Panel Room is St. John the Baptist's signature room.  It was constructed as part of the new school expansion project, opening in 1950.  Not only does it serve to feed our school children, but The Panel Room also doubles as an important gathering place for many parish functions.  In addition, the Panel Room for years has been a popular venue for wedding celebrations, seating parties ranging in size from 225 to 250 people.     The Panel Room is shown at left, ready for a party.

The Mural Room One of the two meeting rooms designed into the second phase of school expansion back in the early '50s, The Mural Room gains its name from wall-spanning natural scene on eastern wall.  The Mural Room provides a wonderful option for gatherings requiring all of the hospitality, but not quite the space of The Panel Room.  Gatherings in The Mural Room seat anywhere from 80 to 100 people.     Here is our Mural Room at the right.  It has hosted reunions, anniversaries, golf outing parties and funerals.

The Founder's Room Our Founder's Room is the second of the two meeting rooms built into the final phase of school expansion completed in 1955.  Gaining its name from the series of portraits residing on the fireplace wall remembering the clerical leadership of St. John the Baptist throughout the years, The Founder's Room provides a more intimate setting than The Panel Room or Mural Room and is perfect for smaller meetings or gatherings.  The Founder's Room  is perfect for serving gatherings of 40 to 50 people.   Over the years, St. John the Baptist has been blessed to have many artisans in the parish family who have contributed their talents to fit various parish needs.

The artistry around the facilities of St. John the Baptist is one example of the stewardship principles of time, talent and treasure in action.  In The Founder's Room, most of the portraits are the work of long-time parish artist William Sabol.  Fr. Kalicky's portrait was done by current parishioner and accomplished artist Mrs. Betty Delinck.  Covers of many web site source materials like the School Addition Commemoration Program and the 75th Jubilee Year Anniversary Book were the work of the late Mr. Joseph Gerba, Sr.  Many parishioners without artistic gifts still helped bring beauty to St. John the Baptist Parish.  A close look at the many stained glass windows and statuary in the church will reveal the names of parishioners who made donations to bring those works of art into our parish.  And a look at some of the old films of our school under construction will show many of the parishioners who themselves provided time and craftsman talent to bring the project to fruition and provide the wonderful facilities we have available to host parish and private functions today.

    Two Meats - $12.00 per person

    Three Meats - $14.00 per person

All meals are served buffet style and include: meat choice, sliced potatoes, Italian green beans, salad,
home made bread, coffee, tea and/or milk

Any (1)  $15.00 per person
Any (2)  $16.50 per person

Buffet Service: $1 per plate less

All meals include: meat choice, potato, Italian green beans, salad, home made bread, coffee, tea and/or milk.

For Bar Service: Setups, cups and bartenders are available at a cost of $1 per person. No juices or liquor are furnished.  We do not have a liquor license.  The party requesting such must furnish any and all liquor.

MEETINGS & ROOM RENTALS

Room Rental (Saturday and Sunday only)

                       $ 200.00 / 4 hour (minimum) Mural Room and Founders Room

                       $   50.00  each additional hour

Coffee       

                       $30.00/ 100 cup pot

                       $  3.50 / 12 cup carafe

The Panel Room is a NO SMOKING facility.

Prices do not include taxes and gratuities.

Extra food of 10% up to a maximum of 5 extra plates will be prepared to account for estimate errors. 
Maximum charge is number of people served, or number of meals requested, whichever is larger.
The invoice will be presented at the conclusion of the function and payment is expected at that time.
